Let it snow! We get a special visit from Uncle Corey, who had brunch with us at our favorite neighborhood diner, Eddie’s. The beautiful weather gave us perfect views of the city from Alamo Square Park. Next, a long drive to Sacramento for New Year’s Eve dinner at Lola’s. We arrive to find a light show next door with Santa and his sign: “Happy Birthday Jesus.” Unfortunately, too much beer and lumpia made us all too sleepy and we barely saw the ball drop at midnight. It don’t matter ... we set out for Tahoe early the next morning with the Amadors and Cousin Debbie. Uncle Rob set us up with a four wheel drive and warm outfits. It was just perfect -- the weather, the snow, and the buffet! We had a great time. Van even got a snow kiss.
