mahalo
mahalo
is a Hawaiian word meaning thanks, gratitude, admiration, praise, esteem, regards and respects.*
After our week together in Hawaii, as family and as friends, I learned the meaning of this word whole heartedly.
Thanks to my side — my family and friends — for coming half-way around the world; for bringing a much needed “down home” and “back east” atmosphere; and for knowing what I’ve found with Maria and expressing it so clearly in your wishes.
Thank you Carmel & Jim for being one step ahead at every turn, and for your everlasting friendship.
Thank you Jake, Stella and Auntie Lita for your friendship that came so easily and always providing the punch lines.
Thank you Fusileros & Amadors for always making me feel welcome. I’ve learned so much about what family means from you and I plan to live up to it.
Thank you Delauras & Abads for never failing to extend a helping hand; for your warm smiles; and especially for the music. Thank you, too, for your welcoming ways.
