5.13    Girls & Boys night in turned into an all-family bbq as everyone unpacked and settled into their rooms. The Abads and the De Lauras joined us — Mahea’s showing off her crab crawl.  For some of us, it was the first time meeting. Van met his Grandma Donna, Angie and his Uncle Hodges! There was plenty to eat! In our excitement, we ordered a ton of groceries: 20 lbs of meat, a whole case of Vienna sausages, cans of Spam (oh yeah) and other necessities. We definitely got creative with our meals during the week. We also celebrated Aunt Marlene’s birthday, which was just the day before.
